Lead Design & Build
A 1960s walk-up apartment with poor cross-ventilation, compartmentalized dark rooms, and outdated plumbing infrastructure.
We hacked the non-load-bearing walls to create an open-plan living and dining area. We preserved the original terrazzo flooring while introducing modern minimalist teakwood joinery and fluted glass partitions to allow light to penetrate the inner corridors.
Increased usable communal space by 30%, drastically improved natural ventilation reducing reliance on air conditioning, and featured in Singapore Tatler Homes.
